The Honda Classic

Congratulations to Russell Henley on winning the 2014 Honda Classic®, which ran from February 27—March 2. This year's tournament culminated in a four-man playoff, with the 24-year-old closing at 8 under and clinching his second PGA TOUR® title. Henley outperformed an outstanding playing field that featured elite players from around the globe, including American Ryan Palmer, Scotland's Russell Knox and Northern Ireland's Rory McIlroy.

The victory marks a significant career milestone for Henley. The young player is now one of four under 25 with more than one PGA TOUR title, and has moved into the top 50 in the world ranking. To top it all off, Henley also took home a brand-new 2014 Honda.

Honda is proud to be the title sponsor and primary charitable contributor of the tournament, as well as the official vehicle of the tournament's host site, PGA National Resort & Spa. For more information, visit www.thehondaclassic.com.

While the Honda Classic always brings exciting PGA TOUR action to Palm Beach County, the ultimate goal is to positively impact youth in need. Since its inception, the tournament has contributed more than $23 million to national and local charities, including the Nicklaus Children's Health Care Foundation. The mission is to provide charitable support for activities that advance and enhance the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of childhood diseases and disorders.
