Honda Manufacturing of Alabama, LLC Honda Manufacturing of Alabama — Proud to Call Alabama Home Honda Manufacturing of Alabama (HMA) is Honda's largest light truck production source — with an annual capacity of more than 300,000 vehicles and V-6 engines. Our 3.2-million-square-foot manufacturing facility in Lincoln is a state-of-the-art automotive plant utilizing the most innovative technologies shared by Honda facilities around the world. HMA's investment in Alabama now totals more than $1.27 billion. Additionally, our dedicated team of 4,500 Alabama associates is now solely responsible for production of the popular Odyssey minivan. With the addition of a second assembly line in 2004, we also have the capability to build both the Odyssey and the popular Pilot sport- utility vehicle on the same production line. HMA shares Honda's global goal of providing high-quality products at a reasonable price. We also share Honda's global leadership in environmental stewardship. Our company-wide commitment to the principle of "Reduce, Reuse and Recycle" has established HMA as a Zero Landfill Facility, which means we send nothing to a landfill. This year, on November 14, 2006, HMA marks its fifth year of production in Alabama. Additionally, we celebrate this year the production of the 1 millionth Honda vehicle and engine to be produced at HMA.
