Fifty-one-year Partnership in Full Bloom![]() The 2012 Rose Parade® presented by Honda, employed several of Honda's innovative environmental technologies to help provide greater efficiency and reduce the carbon footprint of the event. Honda's Rose Parade float was powered by a specially configured hybrid, low-emission engine. In addition, Honda's 100% electric Fit EV was the Pace Car for the Parade. American Honda's relationship with the Tournament of Roses began in 1960 with a supply of two-wheeled vehicles and generators for parade operations.
